Shelley comes to the University of St Thomas after a 26 year career in the public schools. She is passionate about the liberating role of education in one's life and has worked to remove barriers and enhance equity in order that all students may learn. While she began my practice from a primarily psychodynamic orientation, Shelley has come to incorporate cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness perspectives.
