For almost 30 years, our Master of Social Work (MSW) program has focused exclusively on preparing graduates to become clinical social workers, the largest group of providers of mental health services in the nation. In addition to our on-campus weekday/evening model, our hybrid MSW provides access to a high-quality clinical education to those in outstate Minnesota and surrounding areas, where the mental health workforce gap is greatest.
Our Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) focuses on education as practice and is the first online DSW program to focus specifically on preparing social work faculty for university-level teaching and leadership in teaching-intensive colleges and universities.
The dual degree program in social work and law is designed to provide you with both a social and legal perspective to meet the social work and legal challenges that arise in many professions.
