Holistic Care for The Whole Person
Students in the Morrison Family College of Health focus on the health and well-being of the whole person – physical, social, mental, and spiritual. The College of Health encompasses programs in health and exercise science, nursing, counseling psychology and social work.
In each College of Health program, students learn to see and address the interconnectivity of the many factors that influence a person’s health, especially from a social, economic, environmental, and political lens. They develop the critical skills and knowledge required to serve in their own fields, as well as opportunities to learn how to promote health equity on interprofessional teams, regardless of what they career path they choose to pursue.

Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services
The Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services at the University of St. Thomas is among the first in the country through which faculty, staff and students from law, psychology and social work collaborate to help clients in need. At the same time, students from all three disciplines gain practical experience working on real cases, learning skills that will serve them well in their future careers.
Through the IPC, students from the School of Law and the Morrison Family College of Health’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology and School of Social Work help people and communities who face complex legal, psychological and social issues but lack the resources to pay for the professional services they need.
