Some people are curious about pursuing a degree in counseling or need continuing education coursework for their license (LPC or LPCC). The Graduate School of Professional Psychology offers non-degree coursework and continuing education options to meet these needs.
Non-degree students considering the field of counseling psychology may take up to nine credits. If admitted into the MA program at St. Thomas, students can apply those credits to their MA in Counseling Psychology.
Licensees (LPC/LPCC) in Minnesota pursuing continuing education credits will enjoy convenient and flexible scheduling with evening and weekend classes, instruction by core and adjunct faculty who practice in the field of mental health, and the opportunity to strengthen their networks by connecting with diverse students, faculty, and alumni. Students must be enrolled in or have graduated from an MA Program in Counseling or related field.
