Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services

The Interprofessional Center offers legal, social work and psychological services to a diverse population of clients, while providing field, practicum and pre-doctoral internship experiences for graduate College of Health students. At the IPC, students strive to meet the needs of underserved people while gaining valuable real-world experience.

Minnesota Institute for Trauma-Informed Education (MITIE)

MITIE serves to advance the field of trauma-informed education. The collaborative effort between the School of Education and the Morrison Family College of Health seeks to provide an arena for scholars, practitioners, and researchers to convene and learn about the latest in trauma-informed education.

Exercise Is Medicine on Campus

Exercise Is Medicine on Campus is an international initiative that aims to make physical activity assessment and promotion a standard in clinical care, focused on connecting people of all abilities to physical activity resources on campus. St. Thomas was recently named a silver-level campus.

North Memorial Doctoral Psychology Internship

The North Memorial Health-University of St. Thomas Joint Doctoral Psychology Internship Program provides a wide range of training experiences that allow for working with demographically diverse populations. PsyD interns gain valuable experience of serving clients across the continuum of care.

This quarterly series for advocates, policymakers, and community members is the result of a partnership between the School of Social Work and Elders for Infants, a Minnesota advocacy group focused on the addressing the needs of infants and toddlers and their caregivers.
