Our Faculty

The School of Social Work faculty members are recognized scholars, researchers, and practitioners, committed to community engagement and mentoring relationships. They are committed to teaching excellence and supporting student development.  
St. Thomas is a teaching-intensive university that also expects engaged scholarship. Applied research and scholarship is the norm for our faculty, providing collaborative research opportunities for interested students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and bringing their passions into the classroom to enhance student learning. Many of our faculty are leaders in the profession regionally, nationally, and even internationally.
