The Innovation Fund
Advancing health equity requires innovation and community-led change. That’s why, with the generous support of the George Family Foundation, we created the George Family Innovation Fund for organizations to explore, test, and learn from new ideas that may inform improvements to service-delivery, increase knowledge, or reduce barriers to accessing care. In our 2024 grantmaking cycle, five organizations will receive grants of up to $10,000 to support projects that aim to advance health equity through whole-person care.
What is whole-person care?
Whole-person care is a person-centered approach that considers the physical, mental, spiritual, and social aspects of health and well-being in the context of culture and community. At the Morrison Family College of Health, where we educate and train tomorrow’s health professionals, we believe that whole-person care is essential in advancing health equity.
