Building Partnerships to Advance Health Equity

The Whole Person Health Initiative (WPHI) works with community partners through a collaborative approach, grounded in shared goals to advance health equity through whole person care. Rather than focusing on short-term or transactional projects, the Initiative builds lasting relationships that support meaningful change in policy, practice, and training.

Through events like the Whole Person Health Summit and Health Equity Breakfast Series, the Initiative brings diverse audiences together to highlight promising practices and community-driven solutions that meet current challenges and respond to emerging priorities. Other partnerships focus on developing opportunities for student learning that increase the capacity of local organizations to meet the needs of the communities they serve or providing new training for health professionals working in the field.
